North Buncombe Alumni, Friends and Families: It is with deep regret that I have to inform you that HAWKFEST 2020 is officially canceled. We will restart this process in 2021 and make Homecoming 2021 the official FIRST year of the event. Note: anyone who sent in their money to purchase HAWKFEST 2020 tickets, you will be refunded. Please allow us 2 weeks to fulfill all refunds.

First Annual Hawk Fest - ALL ALUMNI FESTIVAL for anyone who attended or graduated from North Buncombe High School. First and foremost, The Barn at Paint Fork endeavors to control ZERO details about the HawkFest 2020 Alumni Festival. We are simply volunteering to host the Main Event on Saturday and welcome as many people to our venue as possible, in order to bring together our community and North Buncombe High School alumni. The Barn is PROPOSING that ONE (and only one) person step forward to represent his/her class. This is for COMMUNICATION purposes only. There are NO actual responsibilities. If you volunteer to be the Class Organizer on this forum, we will assign your profile a special badge so that when you post content, others can see that you are a representative. We envision that a Class Organizer will assist with HawkFest in the following ways: 1. Communicate what you know about HawkFest to your fellow classmates. How you do this is up to you. Most will simply share our FB posts and invite others to come here. 2. Be someone whom The Barn can contact from time to time to check in on any events your class might be planning. It may be that your class plans NOTHING for HawkFest, or it may be that your class goes all out and plans your own events on Friday, Friday Night, Saturday and Sunday. The plans your class may or may not make for HawkFest, will not impact the Main Event at The Barn. We simply want to help everyone have the best HawkFest possible. 3. Just because you are a Class Organizer on this forum, does not suddenly mean you are the designated reunion planner for your class. The Barn has no control over how your classmates choose to organize or plan HawkFest for your specific class. We are simply looking for a single point of contact between your entire class and The Barn. 4. The Class Organizer may be helpful in relaying any up to date information (to as many classmates as possible) should changes to the events come about suddenly or unexpectedly. 5. Thats it....really.
